ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding sleep problems in Somali Americans, particularly looking at those who are otherwise healthy and do not have known issues like high blood pressure or diabetes. The researchers want to find out what types of sleep difficulties these individuals may have, how serious they are, and how these sleep issues might be linked to higher blood pressure. By studying these aspects, the trial aims to uncover the reasons behind sleep problems in this community.
To be eligible for the study, participants need to be Somali adults over the age of 18 who do not have a history of high blood pressure, diabetes, or diagnosed sleep disorders. Those who are pregnant or over 70 years old cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to share information about your sleep patterns and overall health, which will help the researchers gather important insights. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it offers a chance to contribute to understanding and potentially improving health in the Somali American community.
