ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a procedure called Ultrasound-guided Manual Vacuum Aspiration (USG-MVA) for women who have experienced a miscarriage during their first trimester, which is up to 12 weeks of pregnancy. The aim is to understand how effective this procedure is in helping doctors analyze tissue samples and manage the situation after a miscarriage. The trial is currently recruiting participants in Hong Kong, specifically women aged 18 and older who have had a delayed or incomplete miscarriage and are stable enough to undergo the procedure.
To be eligible for this study, women must be able to tolerate a pelvic exam and not have any conditions that would make the USG-MVA unsafe, such as certain uterine abnormalities or active infections. If you join this trial, you can expect to undergo the USG-MVA procedure under ultrasound guidance, which helps doctors see what's happening inside the body more clearly. This study could provide valuable information that helps improve care for women going through similar experiences in the future.
