ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new treatment for women who experience pain during sex, known as dyspareunia, after giving birth. Specifically, it is studying whether a therapy called radiofrequency, combined with a gentle massage technique, can help relieve this pain in women who are 4 to 9 months postpartum. The goal is to see if this method can provide effective relief for those who have developed this issue after their delivery.
To participate in the study, women need to be within 4 to 9 months after giving birth and must be experiencing new pain during sex that started after their delivery. They should also have had an injury during childbirth. However, there are certain conditions that would exclude someone from participating, like having a pacemaker, an active infection, or a history of certain medical issues. If eligible, participants can expect to receive the radiofrequency treatment along with the massage, and their progress will be monitored throughout the trial. This study aims to find a safe and effective way to help women feel more comfortable again after childbirth.
