ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how premature babies, specifically those between 28 and 40 weeks old, respond to sounds. Researchers want to understand how the brain processes rhythm and time perception in these young infants. They will use special tools to measure brain activity while the babies listen to different sounds. This research could help us learn more about how the brain develops and how premature birth affects hearing and communication skills.
To be eligible for this study, babies must be born prematurely but be between 28 and 40 weeks gestational age at the time of participation. Unfortunately, babies outside this age range cannot join the study. If a baby is enrolled, parents can expect to have their child's brain activity carefully monitored in a safe and supportive environment while they listen to various auditory stimuli. This study is currently recruiting participants, and all babies, regardless of gender, are welcome to take part.
