ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different injection treatments can help people with carpal tunnel syndrome, a condition that causes pain and discomfort in the hand and wrist due to pressure on the median nerve. The researchers want to compare the effects of two treatments: one is an injection of dextrose (a type of sugar) mixed with water, and the other is an injection that includes vitamin B12. Previous studies have suggested that these treatments could improve symptoms, but this trial aims to provide more clear results.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 20 and 80 years old and have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome through specific tests. However, if you have had wrist surgery or steroid injections for this condition, or if you have certain medical conditions like blood disorders or nerve issues, you may not be eligible. If you join, you can expect to receive one of the injection treatments and to be closely monitored for any changes in your symptoms. This study is currently looking for participants, and it's a great opportunity to help researchers learn more about effective treatments for carpal tunnel syndrome.
