ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new way to deliver genetic testing for hereditary cancer. Instead of the usual in-person counseling sessions with a genetic counselor, this study will use a self-directed online program to provide important information about genetic testing. The goal is to find out if this web-based approach can offer the same quality of care and support as traditional methods, while also considering how patients feel and behave during the process.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be 18 years or older, speak and understand English, and have never undergone germline genetic testing before. They also need to meet specific guidelines for genetic testing related to cancer. Participants will engage with the online program and share their experiences, contributing to valuable insights about how to improve genetic testing for everyone. If you're looking for a modern approach to understanding your cancer risk, this study could be a great fit!
