ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to locate tiny liver tumors called micro hepatocellular carcinoma before surgery. These tumors are less than 1 centimeter in size and can be tricky to find using standard imaging methods like CT scans or ultrasounds. By using specialized CT guidance, doctors hope to improve the accuracy of the surgery, which could lead to shorter surgery times and less bleeding during the procedure.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosis of liver cirrhosis, along with a small tumor that hasn’t been easily located by regular imaging. However, certain health conditions, like severe liver disease or uncontrolled high blood pressure, may prevent you from joining. If eligible, participants can expect to undergo advanced imaging techniques to help pinpoint the tumor before surgery, which may lead to better outcomes. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders and is looking for volunteers within the age range of 18 and older.
