ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how patients with vascular diseases are admitted and cared for in a hospital over a 12-month period. The goal is to gather information that can help improve the way vascular surgery services are provided, especially in an Irish context. By understanding patient admissions better, the researchers hope to find ways to reduce the length of time patients stay in the hospital after surgery, which can lead to better care and resource management.

To be part of this study, patients must be between the ages of 65 and 74, have vascular care needs, and be under the care of a Vascular Consultant at University Hospital Limerick (UHL). If eligible, participants can expect their medical data to be collected over the year, but those who don't meet the age criteria or are not assigned to a Vascular Consultant will not be included. It's important to note that this study is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be no immediate involvement for patients at this time.
