ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a specific exercise program can help young people recover from concussions more effectively. Researchers want to find out if a high dose of aerobic exercise, done safely and started within two weeks after a concussion, can help reduce symptoms like headaches, anxiety, and depression faster than the usual treatment. The goal is to create better guidelines for rehabilitation and understand how exercise affects brain function in adolescents who have had a concussion.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 13 and 18 years old and have a concussion diagnosed by a sports medicine doctor, with a symptom score indicating you are still experiencing issues. However, if you have certain neurological disorders, can't exercise for medical reasons, or had a concussion more than six months ago, you won't be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to follow a specific exercise program and contribute to important research that could help others recover from concussions in the future.
