ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help women feel more relaxed and less anxious during the first stage of labor by using virtual nature scenes. Research shows that being in a calming environment can help reduce stress and anxiety, which are common feelings for women giving birth. The study aims to see if this virtual nature-based intervention can improve the childbirth experience by measuring levels of anxiety, fear, stress, and pain during labor.

To participate, women must be full-term pregnant and in the active first stage of labor. Unfortunately, those with severe vision or hearing issues, or who might have complications during childbirth, cannot take part. The trial involves 60 women who will be divided into two groups: one group will experience the virtual nature intervention while the other will not. All participants will be checked at various times during and after labor to see how they feel. This study will provide valuable information about whether this kind of intervention can be helpful for women during childbirth.
