ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how well patients with sarcoidosis take their medications and how this affects their health. Researchers want to find out why some people might struggle to stick to their medication plans and develop ways to support them better. The study will involve 150 adults aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with sarcoidosis and have been on oral medications for at least six months. Participants must also live in Maryland or D.C. and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
If you choose to participate, you will be part of a study that lasts 12 months, where you’ll complete questionnaires about your medication habits and health. By participating, you’ll help researchers learn more about the relationship between taking medications and managing sarcoidosis, which could lead to better support for patients like you in the future. Please note that the trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s important that you can communicate in English and provide consent to take part.
