ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new tool called VRelax, which uses virtual reality (VR) to help people manage stress and sleep problems. Stress can worsen mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and burnout, making it harder for individuals to cope with daily life. VRelax aims to provide a relaxing experience that is easier to use than traditional relaxation methods, which can be challenging for some patients. Researchers want to find out how effective VRelax is when combined with regular treatment, compared to standard relaxation exercises.
To participate in this trial, you must be over 18 years old and currently receiving treatment for mental health conditions such as burnout, anxiety, depression, or psychotic disorders. You should also be experiencing stress or sleep issues. However, individuals with certain conditions, such as substance use disorders or severe intellectual disabilities, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to use the VRelax tool alongside their usual treatment and will help researchers understand its impact on their mental health, daily functioning, and overall quality of life. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's an exciting opportunity to explore a new approach to stress management.
