ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a combination of calming music and a special type of sound stimulation can help reduce anxiety. Anxiety has become a more common issue, especially among young people. In this trial, researchers will look at how effective this sound treatment is by measuring different physical and psychological responses in participants who have signs of generalized anxiety. Participants who qualify will listen to either the music and sound combination or a control sound for 24 minutes, and researchers will track changes in heart rate, stress hormones, and anxiety levels before and after the session.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be at least 18 years old, have a score indicating generalized anxiety, and not have any serious heart problems or epilepsy. They should also have normal hearing and not be currently taking anxiety medication. Those who join the study can expect a friendly environment where they will listen to sounds and answer questions about their feelings and musical preferences. Overall, this research aims to understand if this sound-based intervention can effectively help lessen anxiety symptoms.
