ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a program called the Integrative-Mind-Body Skills Group (I-MBS-G) designed specifically for graduate and medical students. Over eight weeks, participants will learn various techniques such as meditation, mindfulness, guided imagery, and relaxation exercises to help manage their mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. The goal is to see if these mind-body skills can improve students' mental well-being and overall quality of life.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old, have been admitted to the Student Mental Health Program, and have a certain level of anxiety, as measured by a questionnaire. However, individuals experiencing severe symptoms, such as suicidal thoughts or active psychosis, will not be able to participate. Those who join can expect to meet weekly with a group to learn and practice these helpful skills in a supportive environment.
