ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new digital program designed to help young people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, conduct disorder, or stress. The program teaches participants a technique called "practicing the opposite," which encourages them to try different behaviors to improve their mental health. This study involves youth who are currently on a waiting list for traditional therapy, and it will compare the effects of this digital program to those who remain on the waitlist without any additional support.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between the ages of 9 and 17 and have already reached out for mental health care at a participating clinic. They also need to be able to read English well enough to use the digital program and have access to a device like a tablet or a computer. If they decide to join, youth and at least one parent or guardian will need to agree to their participation. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you think this could be helpful, it’s a good opportunity to consider.
