ClinConnect Summary
This is an observational, forward-looking study in Italy that will follow up to 500 adults over about two years to learn how brain injuries or damage from conditions like Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, stroke, or epilepsy affect daily life. Researchers will use a set of standard questionnaires and short tests to look at mood, anxiety, sleep, fatigue, cognitive and functional abilities, and overall quality of life. The goal is to track these areas over time and see how they relate to each other, without testing a new treatment.
If you are 18–80 years old, can complete the tests, understand the study purpose, and consent to participation, you may be invited to join. Enrollees will have assessments that take about an hour and can be done in person, by phone, or online. The study is being conducted at Neuromed IRCCS in Pozzilli (Italy) and aims to enroll about 500 participants, with ongoing follow-up for roughly two years. This is a research study to observe and learn, not a trial of a therapy, and results have not yet been published.
