ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to help young African American women who have survived breast cancer. It focuses on improving their quality of life (QoL) after they have finished their treatment, which may include chemotherapy or radiation. The study is comparing two different approaches: one that offers a specific support program aimed at enhancing quality of life, and a second group that will receive general attention without the targeted support.
To participate in this study, women must be between 18 to 44 years old, identify as African American, and have been diagnosed with early to late-stage breast cancer (stages I to III). They should have completed their treatment and be able to speak English, with access to a phone and the internet. Participants can expect to engage in discussions and activities that may help them feel better emotionally and socially after their cancer treatment. It's important to note that women currently involved in other support programs are not eligible to join this trial, as those programs could influence the results.
