ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring what factors influence parents’ decisions about whether to enroll their children in treatment research studies for cancer. The goal is to better understand the thoughts and feelings parents have when considering these important options for their child’s care.
To participate in this study, parents or legal guardians must speak either English or Spanish and have a child who is between the ages of 0 and 18 years with a new cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately, this study is not open to parents of children whose cancer has come back or who have non-cancerous tumors. If you join, you can expect to share your experiences and perspectives, which will help improve how families make decisions about clinical trials in the future. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and all contributions are valuable in shaping better support for families facing childhood cancer.
