ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the use of a special device called the Barricaid annular closure system, which is used to treat a condition known as lumbar disc herniation. This condition occurs when a disc in the lower back bulges out and can cause pain or discomfort. The goal of the study is to gather information from medical records of patients who have already been treated with this device to help support its continued safety and effectiveness after it has been approved for use.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to have been treated with the Barricaid device. Unfortunately, records of patients who received other types of treatment will not be included. If you or someone you know fits this description, your medical records could help provide important data on how well this device works. The study is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders, and it aims to ensure that the information collected will contribute to better understanding and monitoring of this treatment option.
