ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a procedure called Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), which is used to remove abnormal growths in the esophagus and other gastrointestinal areas. The goal of the study is to understand how well this procedure works and what the results are for patients. Importantly, all participants will receive standard medical care during this process, so no new treatments or experiments are involved.
To be eligible for this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for the ESD procedure. However, if you have any medical reasons that would prevent you from safely undergoing endoscopy or are involved in another research study that might affect the results, you won't be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to receive the usual care while helping researchers learn more about the effectiveness of ESD for treating esophageal lesions. This information could benefit future patients facing similar health issues.
