ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to help young girls and their mothers improve how they manage emotions. The researchers want to see if a special technique called dyadic neurofeedback, which uses real-time brain imaging, can help. In this study, mothers will watch their daughters' brain activity on a screen while they talk together. This interaction aims to support the daughters in developing healthier ways to handle their feelings.
To participate, girls need to be between 14 and 17 years old, and their mothers must be their primary caregivers. Both must live together at least four days a week. It's important that the girls do not have any current or past mental health disorders and meet certain health criteria. Participants in this study can expect to engage in conversations with their mothers while their brain activity is monitored, all in a supportive environment designed to strengthen their emotional connections.
