ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "ERP Changes Pre and Post Military Changes," is studying how intense military training impacts brain function, especially in people who may have experienced concussions. Researchers will conduct cognitive tests and record brain activity using a method called EEG (which measures electrical activity in the brain) before and after the training. This will help them understand how repeated minor impacts to the head, common in military training, may affect thinking and memory.
To participate, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have normal or corrected vision and hearing. You should be able to sit still for about 10-15 minutes and follow basic instructions during the tests. However, if you have certain medical conditions, like metal plates in your head or a history of serious neurological issues, you may not be eligible. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to important research that could help improve understanding of brain health in military settings.
