ClinConnect Summary
The NUMITOR study is investigating a specific type of headache called nummular headache, which is characterized by a circular area of pain on the head. This study aims to understand how well different treatments work for people suffering from this condition. It is being conducted at multiple centers and includes both past and current patients to gather a wide range of data on treatment outcomes in real life.
To participate in the study, individuals must be over 18 years old and have experienced nummular headaches for more than three months. They should also be receiving preventive medication as recommended by the Spanish Society of Neurology. Participants will have the chance to share their experiences and receive care from health professionals who specialize in headache disorders. It’s important to note that patients with other health conditions that might complicate their headache diagnosis or treatment will not be eligible for this study.
