ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying an upgraded version of a smart clothing system designed to help people with dementia and their family caregivers. The goal is to see how well this new system works, which includes a special app that caregivers can use to interact with and support their loved ones. The trial is currently looking for participants in Northern Taiwan who have been diagnosed with dementia and can walk, either on their own or with some help. Caregivers who take primary responsibility for their family member’s care and are aged 20 or older can also join the study.
If you or a family member decide to participate, you can expect to use the smart clothing and the caregiver app, which may help make daily care easier and improve communication. This study is open to anyone with dementia, but unfortunately, those with serious illnesses that cannot be managed or those who are terminally ill cannot participate. It’s a great opportunity to help develop tools that could benefit many families dealing with dementia.
