ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how muscle health affects the outcomes of patients waiting for a liver transplant. Researchers want to see if a special imaging test called MRI, which helps assess muscle composition, can provide important information about how well patients might do after receiving a transplant. The study is currently recruiting participants who are adults with end-stage liver disease and are being evaluated for a liver transplant. To join, participants must be able to undergo an MRI scan.
If you or a family member are considering this trial, it’s important to note that it is focused on understanding the relationship between muscle health and liver transplant outcomes. Participants will undergo an MRI as part of the evaluation process. This study aims to help improve treatment and outcomes for future liver transplant candidates, making it a valuable opportunity for those eligible.
