ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a new treatment option for men facing infertility, specifically those diagnosed with nonobstructive azoospermia, which means they have no sperm in their semen due to issues with sperm production. The researchers are investigating whether injecting a substance called platelet-rich plasma (PRP), derived from the patient's own blood, into the testicles can help improve the chances of retrieving sperm and achieving successful outcomes in in vitro fertilization (IVF). This study is particularly important for men who have previously undergone a sperm retrieval procedure called TESE but were unsuccessful.

To participate in this trial, men must be over 18 years old and have been diagnosed with nonobstructive azoospermia, along with at least one failed attempt at sperm retrieval. If you join the study, you can expect to receive the PRP injection and be monitored for its effects on sperm retrieval rates. The goal is to see if this treatment can provide hope for men who currently have limited options after unsuccessful sperm retrieval attempts. If you are interested, the trial is currently recruiting participants.
