ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how artificial intelligence (AI) can help predict when patients with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) might experience a new flare-up after they have achieved clinical remission, which means their symptoms have improved or disappeared. The researchers want to see if they can use information collected from patients at the start of the study and again after 8 weeks to reliably forecast flare-ups within the next year, as well as over the following 2 and 3 years.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis for at least one year. You should also have recently experienced a flare-up of your condition. If you join the study, you will provide consent and undergo evaluations to help the researchers understand your situation better. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and it aims to improve how doctors can predict and manage future UC flare-ups, potentially leading to better care for patients.
