ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Improving Nighttime Access to Care and Treatment; Part 4-Haiti," is studying a new way to help children who get sick at night when it's hard to find medical help. In areas where healthcare is limited, children can suffer if they can't get timely care, leading to more serious health issues. The trial is testing a telemedicine and medication delivery service (TMDS) along with a digital tool that helps healthcare providers follow medical guidelines better. The goal is to see if using this tool improves the care children receive during those critical nighttime hours.
To participate in this study, children must be 10 years old or younger and have an acute illness (a sudden illness that needs attention). Their parent or guardian needs to contact the TMDS during its operating hours. Parents or guardians will also need to agree to certain consent requirements, which can vary depending on how they are contacted. If you decide to participate, you can expect to be involved in a system that aims to improve nighttime healthcare for your child, helping ensure that they receive the best possible support when they need it most.
