ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different treatments for women going through menopause who are experiencing symptoms related to Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM). GSM can cause various uncomfortable issues, such as dryness, pain during sex, frequent urinary problems, and infections due to lower estrogen levels. The trial aims to compare the effects of vaginal estrogen and a treatment called platelet-rich plasma to see which is more effective in relieving these symptoms.
To participate in this trial, women must be experiencing menopause and have symptoms of GSM. However, those with certain conditions, like bleeding or infections that haven’t been diagnosed, or those using specific medications, may not be eligible. Participants will undergo evaluations, including questionnaires and pelvic exams, to check how well the treatments are working and any side effects. This study is not yet recruiting, so it’s a great opportunity for women looking for solutions to their menopause-related symptoms to learn more about possible treatments.
