ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how muscle oxygen levels change in athletes who have undergone surgery for ACL (knee) or hip injuries. Researchers will use a device called the Moxy sensor, which is a wearable gadget that helps measure how much oxygen is in the muscles. By collecting this information, the study aims to understand how well these athletes are recovering and when they might be ready to safely return to their sports.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between 14 and 30 years old and have had either ACL surgery or hip surgery. Healthy individuals who have not had any prior knee or hip surgeries may also be eligible. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and those who join can expect to wear the sensor during their rehabilitation to help track their recovery progress. It's important to note that pregnant individuals and those who do not speak English are not eligible for this study.
