ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how common Lynch syndrome is among patients who have colorectal cancer in Russia. Lynch syndrome is a hereditary condition that increases the risk of developing certain types of cancer, including colorectal cancer. By gathering information from patients with confirmed colon cancer, the researchers hope to learn more about this condition and how it relates to their diagnosis.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of colon adenocarcinoma, which is a type of cancer that starts in the lining of the colon. Participants should not be undergoing current treatment for their cancer, although those who have had treatment for other types of cancer more than 12 months ago may still qualify. The trial is open to all genders, and interested patients will need to provide written consent and be able to meet the study requirements. If eligible, participants can expect to contribute valuable information that could help improve understanding and treatment of Lynch syndrome in the future.
