ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how using medical checklists in the emergency department can help doctors work more efficiently when treating critically ill patients. The goal is to see if these checklists can reduce the time it takes to provide life-saving care, especially for patients suffering from severe conditions like tricyclic antidepressant poisoning and toxicity.
The study is currently recruiting emergency physicians in the Netherlands who have been officially recognized by the KNMG, a professional medical organization. However, this trial is not open to residents or interns in emergency medicine. Participants will be involved in assessing how the checklists might improve patient outcomes, and their experiences will help determine the effectiveness of this approach in emergency care. If you are an experienced emergency physician, this could be an opportunity to contribute to important research that might enhance the way emergency care is delivered.
