ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking to learn more about how people respond to stress. Specifically, researchers want to understand why some people are more vulnerable to stress while others are better at bouncing back from it. They aim to find biological markers—think of these as indicators in the body that can show how well someone handles stress. By identifying these markers, the study hopes to create better ways to prevent and treat stress-related issues.

If you are a new freshman student at the University of Michigan and between the ages of 18 and 25, you might be eligible to participate. However, if you have thoughts of hurting yourself, you would not be able to join. Participants in the study can expect to help contribute to important research that could lead to improved mental health support for themselves and others in the future. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so there's an opportunity to get involved!
