ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the relationship between time perception and future thinking in people who have Cocaine Use Disorder (CUD). Researchers want to understand how thinking about the future might help individuals who are trying to manage their cocaine use. The goal is to see if changing how we think about time can help those struggling with this addiction.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, have used cocaine recently, and want to cut down or quit using it, but you don't have immediate plans to start treatment. The study is currently looking for participants of all genders who meet these criteria. If you join, you’ll take part in activities designed to help you think about your future and how it relates to your choices today. However, if you have certain conditions like severe opioid use disorder or a history of psychosis, you may not be eligible to participate. This trial provides a unique opportunity to explore ways to support recovery for those affected by cocaine use.
