ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well certain tests for lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) can be done at home compared to seeing a doctor in person. The study is focusing on a specific test called uroflowmetry, which measures how much urine you release. Researchers want to find out if using devices at home can provide accurate information just like when you do these tests in a medical office. They are also interested in how satisfied patients feel about having virtual visits versus in-person visits for their urinary issues related to prostate enlargement.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and experiencing urinary retention or other related symptoms. The study is currently recruiting participants, including both new patients and those who already have a relationship with a urologist. If you join, you can expect to use one of the home devices for testing and share your experience with virtual visits. It's important to know that some people may not be eligible, including those under 18 or those with certain health conditions that require in-person exams.
