ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Improving Sleep and Learning in Rehabilitation After Stroke, Part 2," is looking at how a digital program called Sleepio can help improve sleep for people who have had a stroke. The study aims to see if better sleep can lead to improvements in learning new movements after a stroke. Researchers will compare the results of those using Sleepio to those receiving standard care.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old and have had a stroke that affects your arm but still allows you to move it enough to learn new tasks. You should also have reliable internet access and be interested in improving your sleep quality. However, if you have other neurological conditions, untreated sleep disorders, or are currently pregnant, you may not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to work on your sleep with the Sleepio program while also participating in rehabilitation to help regain your motor skills.
