ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how people who use both cannabis and tobacco experience withdrawal symptoms when they try to quit. The researchers want to learn about the patterns of use and how these substances affect each other, especially for those receiving treatment for cannabis use disorders. To do this, they will use a special app designed with input from users to track their consumption habits and experiences during the quitting process. The study will involve a mix of interviews and surveys to gather as much information as possible.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be at least 18 years old, currently smoking tobacco (at least one cigarette per week), and receiving treatment for cannabis use. They also should have a smartphone and be willing to provide informed consent. During the study, participants can expect to share their experiences with cannabis and tobacco use, as well as any withdrawal symptoms they might face. This information will help researchers create better support programs for people trying to quit these substances in the future.
