ClinConnect Summary
The "Our Healthbox" trial is studying how to improve access to HIV self-testing and harm reduction supplies for people in Canada. The goal is to make it easier for individuals who might not have access to a smartphone or face challenges in getting healthcare to test for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. To do this, the program will use smart vending machines placed in various locations across Canada, allowing people to pick up free HIV self-testing kits and other helpful resources conveniently.
If you're at least 16 years old (or 18 in Quebec) and live in Canada, you might be eligible to participate. Participants will be able to use the vending machines to access these important health tools, and your involvement will help gather important information to shape future healthcare solutions. This program aims to ensure that everyone has the chance to take care of their health, regardless of their circumstances.
