ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at new ways to treat amblyopia, often called "lazy eye," which is a condition that affects vision, especially in children. The study will explore how activities like perceptual learning and playing video games can help improve vision in both adults and children with amblyopia. Researchers want to understand how these activities can help the brain adapt and improve visual skills.
The trial is open to both adults and children, as long as they have either normal vision or amblyopia, specifically if there is a noticeable difference in vision between their two eyes. If someone has serious eye conditions or nystagmus (an involuntary eye movement), they won't be able to participate. Participants can expect to engage in exercises and games designed to enhance their visual abilities, and they will be monitored to see how their vision changes over time. This study is a great opportunity for those affected by amblyopia to potentially benefit from innovative treatment approaches.
