ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how certain factors, like vulnerability and resilience, affect the development and behavior of children and teenagers who are in the child welfare system. The researchers want to understand the mental and emotional health of these young people at the time they are placed in care and how these aspects change over the next two years. They will look at children and adolescents in full-time care in specific areas, including Seine-Maritime and Eure, as well as in daycare centers in Le Havre or Rouen.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be minors who are currently in the child protective services and placed in care full-time. Unfortunately, minors who are not connected to the social security system, those who are not accompanied by a guardian, or those who do not understand French cannot participate. The trial is currently recruiting participants and aims to provide valuable insights into their mental health and development, which could help improve support and care for these children and teenagers in the future.
