ClinConnect Summary
The PILKE study is researching how babies develop their motor skills and how this relates to their thinking abilities as they grow. The goal is to understand the typical growth patterns in healthy infants and those who may be at risk for neurological issues. By using wearable technology, the study will track how infants move and compare those movements to their brain development later on.
This trial is looking for infants aged 5 to 8 months who are developing normally and do not have any significant medical issues or concerns about their development. If your baby is eligible and participates, they will wear a device that monitors their movements. The information gathered will help researchers learn more about how early motor skills can affect later cognitive development. This study is currently recruiting participants, and all genders are welcome to join.
