ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special nursing program called Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) can help patients recover better after minimally invasive lung cancer surgery. The researchers want to see if patients who receive care through the ERAS program have shorter hospital stays, fewer complications, and lower chances of needing to return to the hospital compared to those who do not receive this type of care.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be at least 18 years old and plan to have minimally invasive surgery. However, those who have had more complicated surgeries, like a pneumonectomy that turned into an open surgery, or those who have difficulty communicating due to certain health conditions, will not be included. If you decide to participate, you can expect to share your experiences and feedback about your recovery process, which will help researchers understand the benefits of the ERAS nursing program.
