ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a specific type of exercise called diaphragmatic resistance training can help people who suffer from chronic neck pain. Chronic neck pain is pain that lasts for more than three months and can be caused by things like long hours spent on electronic devices. The researchers believe that strengthening the diaphragm, a key muscle used for breathing, may improve neck pain and movement quality by providing better spinal stability.
To participate in this study, individuals must be experiencing neck pain that has lasted for over three months. However, those with a history of recent neck pain, certain health conditions (like respiratory or neurological disorders), or who have undergone surgery for neck issues are not eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to take part in exercises designed to strengthen your diaphragm, which may help reduce your pain and improve your daily activities. The study is currently recruiting participants of all genders aged between 18 and 65.
