ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how reliable 3D gait analysis is when performed in three different laboratories. Gait analysis is a way to measure how people walk, and the goal is to see if the results from different labs can be compared accurately. The researchers will recruit about 30 healthy volunteers, aged 18 to 65, from the staff and students of the participating centers. Each volunteer will have their walking analyzed three times, once at each lab, within one week of each other.
Participants can expect to walk on a special treadmill while their movements are recorded and analyzed. This study is important because it will help researchers understand if they can combine data from different labs for future studies, which could lead to better treatment options for patients with gait issues. However, people with neurological disorders, balance problems, past leg surgeries, or certain medications affecting walking are not eligible to participate.
