ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring why some people are hesitant to get vaccinated, especially within Black, Hispanic, and medically underserved communities in the rural South. Researchers will talk to participants through interviews and focus groups, as well as gather information through surveys. They want to understand the barriers these communities face when it comes to vaccination and how messages from trusted individuals may influence their decisions about getting vaccinated. By combining these different methods, the study aims to paint a clearer picture of vaccine hesitancy and trust in these populations.
To participate in the study, individuals must be 18 years or older and able to speak either English or Spanish. The study is currently looking for volunteers, and anyone who meets these criteria can take part. Participants can expect to share their thoughts and experiences related to vaccines in a supportive environment, helping researchers understand the factors that affect vaccination rates in their communities. This research is important because it can lead to better strategies for encouraging vaccination and improving health equity.
