ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special breathing device, called an Inspiratory Muscle Training (IMT) device, affects the diaphragm, which is a key muscle for breathing. Researchers want to understand how much work the diaphragm does when people use this device. To find out, healthy adults will be monitored during their training sessions using special equipment that measures pressure in the esophagus and stomach.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and in good health, meaning they should not have certain medical conditions like blood clotting issues or problems with their airways. Participants can expect to be part of a supportive environment where their breathing and diaphragm activity will be carefully observed while they train. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and it aims to provide more insight into how the IMT device helps improve breathing strength.
