ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective a medication called ketorolac is for managing pain after certain lower limb surgeries, like knee or ankle operations. Ketorolac will be given through an IV (a small tube inserted into a vein) while a tourniquet (a device that compresses the limb to control bleeding) is used during the surgery. The goal is to see if giving ketorolac this way helps keep pain away for a longer time after surgery.
To participate in this trial, you would need to be an adult undergoing a planned, single lower limb orthopedic surgery with a tourniquet, and your overall health must be classified as good to fair (like the American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II). Some people may not be eligible, such as pregnant women or those with certain health conditions, like severe obesity or allergies to ketorolac. If you join the trial, you'll receive the ketorolac after the tourniquet is applied, and you'll be monitored to see how well it helps with pain relief after your surgery.
