ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on finding ways to prevent infections that patients can get while in the hospital, known as hospital-acquired infections (HAIs). These types of infections are a serious concern, especially in low- and middle-income countries like Cambodia and Laos. The study aims to test and evaluate new strategies for healthcare workers to improve hand hygiene and clean medical equipment to help reduce the number of these infections.
Healthcare workers who have been working in specific hospital wards for at least six months and are 18 years or older can participate in this trial. Participants will be part of a pilot program to see if these infection control methods are effective and acceptable in their healthcare settings. If you or someone you know works in one of the selected hospitals and meets these criteria, you might consider joining this important study aimed at improving patient safety and health outcomes.
