ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special program called multimodal prehabilitation can help men prepare for and recover from robotic-assisted surgery for prostate cancer. The goal is to see if this program can help patients feel better faster after surgery, improve their ability to function (like maintaining erections and control over urination), and reduce feelings of anxiety before and after the operation.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be men aged 65 to 74 who have localized prostate cancer and are planning to undergo robotic radical prostatectomy, which is a type of surgery to remove the prostate. Those who have had previous pelvic surgeries or treatments, or who are not willing to follow the program, will not be included. If you join the study, you can expect to take part in sessions designed to help you get ready for surgery, which could lead to a smoother recovery and better overall results.
