ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new method for measuring blood pressure using a technique called speckle plethysmography. High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a significant health concern because it can lead to serious issues like heart disease and strokes. This trial aims to see if this new method can help monitor blood pressure continuously and more comfortably than current methods, which can be bulky and inconvenient.

To participate in the study, you need to be a healthy adult aged 18 or older. During the trial, you'll visit the clinic at least twice, where you'll undergo a physical exam and have sensors placed on your body to monitor your heart activity and blood pressure. You'll take part in a few simple tests, such as breathing exercises and math problems, while the sensors collect data. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's important to note that individuals with certain health conditions, like heart or lung disorders, may not be eligible. Overall, this study could help improve how we monitor blood pressure in the future.
